영원하신 주님,

복되신 삼위일체 하나님,

저와 당신의 모든 백성이 ' 현실주의'로 부터 벗어나게 하소서.

역사 의식과 과거의 대한 생생한 의식,

과거와 미래사이에 맞물려 있는 현재에 대한 의식

내일에 대한 약속과

내일에 대한 불안정한함 의식할 수 있도록 하소서.

심판과 창조물을 치유하신다는 당신의 약속

역사와 시간을 통하여 계시하신 

당신의 진리의 길 가운데 당신과 함께 동행할 수 있도록

도와주소서.

영원한 언약의 주님이시고

전에도 계셨고, 이제도 계시며 장차 오실 분의 이름으로 기도드립니다.

아멘.

Tuesday Prayer:

Eternal Lord, Blessed Trinity, please deliver me and all your people from “nowism.” Give us a sense of history and of the liveliness of the past; of the embeddedness of the present in past and future; and of the promise but precariousness of tomorrow. Help us walk with you in the way of your truth, your revelation through time and history, and your promises of judgment and creation healed. I pray in the name of the One who was, and is, and is to come, the eternal Covenant-making Lord. Amen.
