하워드스나이더 목사의 기도(수요일)

의로우신 주님,

오늘 제가 생각하기 위해 멈출때에

당신의 말씀을 통해 저에게 말씀하소서.

제가 영적인 예민함을 절대 잃지 않게 하소서.

제마음을 관통하는 진리로부터 제가 격리되거나

급진적인 제자도의 부르심에 제가 무감각하지 않도록 해주시길 원합니다.

오늘도 여전히 말씀하시는 살아있는 말씀이신 예수그리스도를 의지하여 기도드립니다.

Ash Wednesday Prayer:

Righteous Lord, as today I pause to reflect, please speak to me through your Word. May it never lose its sharpness. May I not insulate my heart from its piercing truth or become callous to its call to radical discipleship. I pray through the living self-giving Word, Jesus Christ, who still speaks today. Amen.
