죽음에서 예수 그리스도를 부활시키셨던

생명의 주님,

부활에 대한 약속을 인하여 당신께 감사드립니다.

이 세상에서의 생명과

이 세상 이후의 생명을 인하여 감사드립니다.

생명을 주시는 성령님

오늘 제안에 당신의 생명을 깊게 내리셔서

예수안에서 진정한 생명의 약속을

모든 사람들이 볼수 있게 하여 주소서.

현재의 삶의 모든 기간과

그것을 넘어서 당신안에서

저를 지켜주셔서

제가 주님의 집에 영원히 거할수 있게 해주시길 원합니다.

아멘.

그러나 이제 그리스도께서 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살아나사 잠자는 자들의 첫 열매가 되셨도다 사망이 한 사람으로 말미암았으니 죽은 자의 부활도 한 사람으로 말미암는도다 아담 안에서 모든 사람이 죽은 것 같이 그리스도안에서 모든 사람이 삶을 얻으리라 그러나 각각 자기 차례대로 되리니 먼저는 첫 열매인 그리스도요 다음에는 그가 강림하실 때에 그리스도에게 속한 자요.

Prayer for Wednesday, January 17

Lord of life, who raised Jesus Christ from the dead, I thank you for the promise of resurrection. Thank you for life here and hereafter. Life-giving Spirit, so deepen your life in me today that the true promise of life in Jesus may be seen by all. Keep me in you throughout and beyond this present life, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen.

Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have died. For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead has also come through a human being; for as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. — 1 Corinthians 15:20-23
