주님, 시편 89편을 통해 메시야와 교회에 대한 확신을 주심을 감사합니다.

시89: 내가 또 그를 장자로 삼소 세상 왕들에게 지존자가 되게 하며

그를 위하여 나의 인자함을 영원히 지키고 그와 맺은 나의 언약을 굳게 세우며

또 그의 후손을 영구하게 하여 그의 왕위를 하늘의 날과 같게 하리로다 만일 그의 자손이 내 법을 버리며 내 규레대로 행하지 아니하며 내 율례를 깨뜨리며 내 계명을 지키지 아니하면

내가 회초리로 그들의 죄를 다스리며 재찍으로 그들의 죄악을 벌하리로다.그러나 자의 인자함을 그에게서 다 거두지는 아니하며 나의 성실함도 폐하지 아니하며 내 언약을 깨뜨리지 아니하고 내 입술에서 낸 것은 변하지 아니하로다 내가 나의 거룩함으로 한 번 맹세하였은즉 다윗에게 거짓말을 하지 아니할 것이라

Saturday Prayer:

Thank you, Lord, for this assurance about Messiah and Church from Psalm 89:

I will make him the firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth. Forever I will keep my steadfast love for him, and my covenant with him will stand firm. I will establish his line forever, and his throne as long as the heavens endure.

If his children forsake my law and do not walk according to my ordinances, if they violate my statutes and do not keep my commandments, then I will punish their transgression with the rod and their iniquity with scourges; but I will not remove from him my steadfast love, or be false to my faithfulness.

I will not violate my covenant, or alter the word that went forth from my lips. Once and for all I have sworn by my holiness; I will not lie to David.
